The Alternative / Mixed Prop Juggling Competition
This event is an alternative to the exclusively balls, rings, or clubs events, and will be held at the end of the XJuggling, Extreme Juggling Competition.
Tricks in the AMP competition may use any number of props or any types of props as well as combinations of balls, rings, and clubs. Many different skills may be combined, but juggling is still the focus. Playing the harmonica while juggling is not a good AMP competition trick.
The judging emphasis will still be on creativity, visual aesthetic, originality, and difficulty. However, since originality can make difficulty hard to judge, we will weigh the other criteria more heavily.
We'd like to say that there are no limits to what can be attempted in this event, but since we are being hosted by the International Jugglers Association, we have to keep in mind the safety and decency standards of the IJA Festival stage.
